Kawasaki ER 6n. These are the bikes you coud be training for your Cat A2 licence on at Sharper Rider Training.
At the age of 19 years old you qualify to take the practical tests on a medium sized motorbike which upon passing entitles you to ride motorcycles up to 35kw(46.6 bhp). A few examples of bikes in this category are shown in the slide show
above.
If you have held a Cat A1 licence for a minimum of two years you would not be required to re-sit CBT or theory test again. This is called staged access.
IMPORTANT: Please note that you cannot ride a medium sized motorcycle wthout supervision
by a DAS qualified DSA instructor until both practical tests have been taken successfully.
For Category A2 Sharper Rider Training uses ER6n motorcycles that are restricted to 35kw. Motorcycles that are restricted to suit this category cannot be more
than 70kw before restriction.
At Sharper Rider Training the maximum ratio is 2 trainees to 1 instructor to ensure that all trainees get equal training and attention.
Training for Cat A2 is £90 per 3 hour lesson. This includes bike
hire, 3rd party insurance and the use of a helmet and gloves if required.
